About AmeriumData

Hi, I'm Laura Sandifer. I've been blogging and managing websites for over seven years. I built this site to share clear, tested advice on web hosting for people who are just getting started.

What This Site Is

AmeriumData is a hosting review and beginner blogging resource. Every review is based on real accounts I've held and tested myself, using third-party tools like UptimeRobot to track actual uptime and contacting support teams at odd hours to see how they actually respond.

Most hosting reviews are vague on purpose. They say blazing fast without a single speed number. This site tries to be more specific — every claim is backed by a number or a real test result.

Hosting Providers I've Tested

Over the years I've held active accounts with the following providers:

How Reviews Are Scored

Every hosting review on this site uses the AmeriumData Hosting Score, which weighs four things:

AmeriumData Hosting Score

Performance & Speed
40%
Support Quality
30%
Price Transparency
20%
Beginner Friendliness
10%

Support quality carries 30% because it's what beginners need most and what most reviews spend the least time on.

A Note on Affiliate Links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. My recommendations are based on testing, not on which company pays the most. Every affiliate link is labeled as such.

Have a question about a specific host, or something isn't working the way it should? Send me a message — I read everything.
